VS 2012 compatibility

description

We have been using the StyleCop Check-in Policy for years with VS2010 and just recently switched to VS2012 which is unfortunately not supported. We will not be able to switch to VS2013 in the near future, so it would be great if the StyleCop Check-in Policy would be available for VS2012!

I'm sorry but I didn't had time the last year to make support for VS2012. The issue also didn't have a lot of support from other developers. I hope you guys already upgraded to VS2013 or even VS2015. Both upgrades should be go very smooth. The happy news is that I have added support for VS2015 RTM.

Thank you for your feedback!

I will look into it. I can't promise anything off course.

May I ask why you aren't using VS2013? It is the same as VS2012 but then better. Everything that is supported in 2012 is supported in 2013...

LockTar, i really appreciate your effort!

We are developing a software package that is used in regulated environments and therefore there is a lot of additional work (validation and so on) to be done for such "simple" things like changing the development environment. We recently updated to VS2012 and TFS2012 (just before VS 2013 was released) which was a lot of work and we are quite happy that we managed to do that, therefore we will not be able to update to 2013 within the near future.
